HDSM Team contributes to the Connected Past Conference 2025 (16-19 September, Coimbra)
On September 16-19, the Connected Past Conference 2025 took place in Coimbra, Portugal. This assembly aims to provide discussion platforms for the development of original and critical applications of network and complexity approaches to archaeology and history. Two projects were presented from the HDSM side. Jiajie Zhang gave a talk on MeDoraH: a multidisciplinary project, providing valuable insight into the team’s current achievements. The title of the presentation was “Towards a Network of Recollection in Oral Histories”. Research Team: Jiajie Zhang, Frieda Schmidt, Andreas Vlachidis, Marco Humbel, Julianne Nyhan, Andrew Flinn, Valentina Prishchepova, Aleksey Varfolomeyev, and Florian Elleringmann.
Our colleague, Frieda Schmidt, presented the project entitled “Networks of Mass Appropriation: The distribution of Aboriginal Cultural Material within European Museum Collections”.
