A Lecture by Prof. Nyhan at the Summer School 2023: ‘History of the Humanities: Stories, Sources, and Challenges’ in Leiden
This summer in 2023, the Huizinga Instituut in the Netherlands (Research School for Cultural History) has organized a summer school ‘History of the Humanities: Stories, Sources, and Challenges’ dedicated to key questions, methodological issues, and current developments in the history of the humanities. A three-day workshop clustered around three themes: stories, sources, and challenges. Professor Nyhan delved into the second area: sources, highlighting a specific type of source — oral history interviews with first-generation practitioners of digital humanities.
More details about the event can be found on the official website.
